Geoff Weatherford (geoffw) > There's Browns Lake. Hiking down to it, and then having to hike back out, would have taken another 2 hours or so. I figured that would be cutting it pretty close.

Geoff Weatherford (geoffw) > Hmmm. Breaking over the top of the ridge allows me to see the next valley along with some rain. Now, which direction is the rain moving?
Geoff Weatherford (geoffw) > I've gained a little altitude on the trail. Slightly different perspective of the same mountains (Rawahs). If you know where to look, you can see the Laramie River valley (which runs past Woods Landing to the right).
Geoff Weatherford (geoffw) > Full zoom (I'm practicing for Denali National Park : ).
Geoff Weatherford (geoffw) > Zoomed in at the same area.
Geoff Weatherford (geoffw) > So, this is a shot looking more NW. Which means, theoretically, those mountains are the Rawahs (Rawah Wilderness). Walden/North Park is directly on the other side.
Geoff Weatherford (geoffw) > Here is a full zoom (pretty messy). So, if you never hear from me again, tell them to look in this area : )
